Taglio means cut or slice in Italian, which means the name of this place is slice pizza. I am guessing this is a take on the pizza al taglio shops you find in Rome side this place specializes in the rectangular Roman pies, not to be confused with the spongy and fluffy Sicilian pie. Pizza tasted great, was a bit expensive but everything is nowadays.The sodas in the fridge are room temperature. The girl working the register didn't like that I came back to request a cup with ice, and told me as I waited, that she already gave 2 to someone else in my party, and that one of those was supposed to be for me. If I'm eating in your establishment, and have purchased over $30 worth of food and beverage, am I not allowed to ask that the beverage be cold? We just moved to Garden City, and this was the first pizza place we decided to try. The pizza was fantastic! There was a great variety of options. The crust was perfectly crispy and thin, just the way my fiancé and I love it! My fiancé ordered the broccoli rabe and sausage slice along with a house salad, while I went for the vodka pesto slice paired with a vessel salad. Both were delicious. The man working there (unfortunately, we didn't catch his name) was incredibly nice, and the service was excellent! We will definitely be returning. One small suggestion: it would be helpful to have a menu featuring other food options, like a chicken cutlet sandwich, since it was our first visit!
Taglio offers some of the best pizza in the area. Their flavors and pizza style have remained consistently excellent. They feature a variety of options for both vegetarians and meat-lovers. The service is always outstanding, and I've never encountered any issues with either the food or the service. It's my favorite pizza spot outside of Manhattan. While it may be a bit on the pricey side, I believe it's worth every penny. If you're nearby and craving pizza, I highly recommend giving this place a try!

If you go here to get regular pizza, you are crazy. The Roman Style is excellent. I drove 15 miles because a friend of mine (who is from Rome) recommended it. It is delicious and it's not heavy. I felt full but not stuffed. Thank you, I will be visiting again.Food: 5/5
Honestly it was just OK pizza. For the price point I was definitely expecting better. The red sauce was too sweet for me and the honey on one of the slices really threw me. Overall it's 3 star food, but I took a star off for the inflated price.
This was my first experience with Roman-style pizza, and we tried the margherita. The crust appeared thick, but it was surprisingly thin and incredibly delicious! We will definitely be returning!

2nd time. No prices listed. You pay whatever the cashier rings up. Very small slices. Very large price.
Regular pizza parlor. But the Roman pie is excellent. One of the best pizza pies I have ever had.
