We have ordered take out several times now during the pandemic and have been VERY surprised ... we tried there before but were not happy ... but lately the food has been VERY good. The Lo Mein noodles were absolutely delicious both times ... and they nailed the eggrolls! While the food has been better since they only do takeout during these times they have to be careful with their orders. This is the second time now we did not get what we ordered ... one of the dishes was supposed to be Lo Mein noodles with chicken balls ,,, we get home (18 km) and open the package and NO balls ... just the noodles ... but they did have the sweet and sour sauce ... VERY disappointed!!!
We always loved going there to eat, but for some reason it is declining fast. Last two times there were only 3 couples there, and I had to stand and wait for food to come out. And wait and wait. Used to be a lineup outside the door on the weekends. Now you walk in and there are tons of empty tables. The take out, however, seems to be steady. The staff seems to have changed also, and not for the better. We will try it again, but if its the same, we will make the trip across town to another place. Shame.
Just purchased meal to be delivered from this establishment, Delivery arrived and when we went to pay with VISA, we were charged an extra $3.00. Called restaurant to inquire about said charge. Their response was that deliveries are done by private contractor and they are unaware of said charge. Very unprofessional if they are not aware about what their delivery service is charging, Will not purchase from them again
Arrived 6 p.m. Supper time. Buffet was leftover lunch items. Asked for fresh wings and chicken balls since the items on the buffet were so dried out, The fresh food arrived, perhaps 6 pieces of each item and were put in with the dried out lunch items. Our bill was $100.00 for five people for food that was disgusting and mostly inedible. This restaurant has gone downhill for buffet. Perhaps takeout is better.
This used to be my favorite Chinese food restaurant in the area for both dining in and take out however they've gone downhill quite badly. Had dinner there a weed ago and the buffet was not fresh at all. Service has also not been the best on my last few visits. I ordered take out last night and the chicken balls had pieces of bone in two of them. The rice was certainly not fresh felt like chewing on gum?
Placed order at 4PM in afternoon for 5:30 pickup . Arrived and awaited call.. The guy that took my order told me specifically we would be called when order was ready. Sat outside during Covid19 awaiting call that never came. I totally get that you were busy but its now 8 PM and stil no call. Clearly you dropped the ball.
We went here today after a bad experience at another restaurant in town and was delighted with the service and quality of the food. I was very surprised by the inexpensive cost for the 5 of us, i will defiantly return to this restaurant when i visit Trenton again
Went for lunch. Extremely disappointing. Has really gone downhill. The meats were tasteless, the vegetable were limp.Soup was like it was just in water not a broth. Prices have gone up and quality has gone down. Won't be back
Was a former employee, manager never allows waitresses to use cash machine slows everything down, plus this place is understaffed. Plus rude chefs
