The food we received was of low quality. Starting with the onion bhaji's which looked like hockey pucks and we're greasy and bland. Next up Chicken Madras again lacking real flavour, chicken rubbery and the sauce not rich. King prawn korma with just 6 prawns and not very tasty, bland and watery Naan bread, slightly stale flavour and not good quality. Tarka Dahl, was really watery and no flavour at all. We were really looking forward to a nice Indian meal and we feel that this was really poor and not aligned with other ratings. Simply the best Indian restaurant in the Surrey by far, hands down, no questions asked! The food is of immense quality and is always tasty and packed with authentic fantastic flavours all for very very reasonable prices, it simply is the best Indian restaurant in Surrey don't bother going to any other Indian restaurant in Surrey it's a waste of time and money the Taj Mahal is honestly that good! We had a great experience with my partner. The food was up to scratch and we had a lovely, friendly chat with the waiter that had been working at the restaurant since 1987! Will go again for sure :
