Typical hibachi steak house. Pros: Food was fantastic. Cons: Don't get soup and salad, you must choose between one or the other (not a deal breaker). I've been to many Hibachi places previously and always received both. We all opted for salad but would be nice to try soup sometime. Didn't realize it was a Hibachi grill which is funny as it's in the name. Was just trying to find a good sushi place while in Baton Rouge and it didn't disappoint. I only had the sushi but it was pretty delicious. So if you're on the hunt for some good sushi this is a solid spot. They do also have a dining room just for dinner without the hibachi grill so don't let that disued you.
It is not what it used to be. Not sure if it's under different management but, the quality has drastically gone down, the service is almost nonexistent, and the prices have increased. As much as i would love to love this place, i no longer visit Takumi.
Had a lunch date with my husband! Very entertaining at the hibachi bar. Definitely a Great date place another couple was seated by us but yes still very nice setting. The food was great as well as the service Definitely a must check out place!

We had a blast. The service was great and the staff were so friendly. I appreciated that our waitress was new and when we asked a question she did not know she went to ask instead of lying about it. Great service.
Takumi is hands down one of the best hibachi places you can eat located in the Denham area! Fresh ingredients, fresh meat, and amazing service. You cannot beat the culture and great food! 10/10 recommend!
Today was my first day ever eating at a Hibachi Grill. I was just like a kid enjoying the fire flames and clapping. The dish I had was delicious. I had a great time and I will be visiting Takumi again.
Great food and a good environment. The staff here is very attentive and they make you feel like family. Takumi has some of the best hibachi and best sushi around.
