The owners of this restaurant were uncommonly rude. We were with a tour group and the meal was preordered weeks in advance. They refused to put us together and had us spread to three different tables. They stated the large table was for their regulars. The soup we got was burned, they gave us no choices in meals, (everyone got the fish). To be fair someone made a mistake when they made reservations and ordered fish for everyone. But when asked if the could have something besides the fish the owners refused. Overall a very bad experience. They need instructions on customer service.
We were on the way down from Lunersee and want a small meat and cheese plate and some drinks, so we stopped here. Staff was super friendly and took great care of us and the platter for one person fed two and still had enough for a lunch bag to take with. I would comeback here anytime we are in the area. Highly recommend you give it a try
Potato cream soup tasted burnt and was returned uneaten by 17 people. No one from the hotel even came and asked why or cared when we tried to talk to them. Salmon was bland and basic. Servers were surly.
We are here as it was our 40th wedding anniversary. Very good food and service, although a complimentary glass of bubbly might have been nice as it was such a special occasion for us
