We ordered what was advertised as individual pizzas, but they turned out to be much larger than either of us could eat on our own. I suspect they used pre-made crusts, but the toppings were generous. One of us had the vegetable pizza with barbecue chicken, while the other chose pepperoni and mushroom.
We appreciated that the waitress asked if we were staying at the hotel and informed us that the pizza boxes wouldn’t fit in the refrigerator. She mentioned that she would pack them differently if we were hotel guests. Overall, I wouldn’t make a special trip here, but if I were staying at the hotel, it wouldn't be the worst meal I could have.
This restaurant is situated inside the Great Escape Lodge. My boyfriend and I opted to share some appetizers: mozzarella sticks, pretzel bites, and boneless wings. Everything was absolutely delicious, and I truly can't choose a favorite. For the wings, we went with BBQ and sweet chili flavors, both bursting with flavor! The beer cheese served with the pretzel bites was fantastic, and the marinara sauce that accompanied the mozzarella sticks was nice too, albeit a bit sweet. The service was outstanding! Our waitress, Megan, was incredibly sweet, funny, and personable. I give it a full 5 stars!
The food was average. The service was average. They have a good selection of beers. The pulled pork was dry, the grilled chicken ceaser wrap was good...needed more chicken. Apparently they love Red Gold ketsup. My Burger was very tasty...my wife once again doesn't like tomatoes out as they are usually peekid and not ripe enough. Jim my server was nice, not anything to write home about.
