My visit was brief, and I didn't find staff rude; just detached uninterested in doing more than the minimum necessary. My guess is the owners are just here to make money and that's what's driving the dozens of Google reviews about the bad/rude service....Their formula for the cafe seems to be to sprinkle a few hints clichés of the zesty modern offerings that surround it around Bondi Bronte but at it's core it screams cheap bulk-buy make-a-buck old-world cafe where sweet chilli sauce from a bottle is an 'exotic' touch . I just found the food, the menu, staff vibe and the whole place drab, uninspiring, unimaginative or in any way worthy of the place and the view. If you're a visitor to the Bon...

I went to this cafe today, always had good experiences in the past. I was there at this morning and the staff were incredibly rude, rude, rude! Multiple staff made it very clear (they were literally shouting at groups of potential patrons to go...away) that they had no interest in our patronage or the I was spending on take away coffees. Our tea was made incorrectly and the lady at the counter could barely have been ruder and refused to remake to fix her mistake (OMG, how much does tea cost to remake a cup of tea? It was literally shocking. The staff proved they had no passion for hospitality. We were so disappointed

Some former business associates, and now friends, came up from Melbourne to explore Sydney and the eastern suburbs and wanted to catch up, so why not have a coffee on the beach? The sun was shining, the waves were crashing and there weren't many people...around (work day). There were a few people at the coffee shop and a couple of dogs with them. The coffee was great, the service was good and we enjoyed our time catching up. Whilst I've walked past this cafe many times before it is the first time I've stopped and sat down to enjoy the ambience. It's well worth a visit, particularly mid week after peak hour

I was here for a quick lunch and ordered a simple egg bacon and roll. Honestly it wasn't very tasty. I have eaten this type of sandwich many times in many different places, but here the egg on one side was completely raw, and it...was salt-free, when usually the egg bacon and roll is very tasty. Really nothing special. And also, it wasn't even a sandwich, but a kind of pizza. Obviously, the coffee is aesthetically very nice, and the staff is very friendly Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Tourists and non-repeating costumers keeps them in the business. It’s definitely the Waverley council’s fault to allow the business running without competition. Very sad that it’s an amazing location. Very bad experience for Australian tourists. I say, avoid this cafe and spread the word

Walking the Coastal Walk stopped off for breakfast and pleasantly surprised. Service good. Breakfast was very good. Beans and eggs. Coffee not bad. Lovely spot to relax and enjoy the view

We stopped for a coffee and the staff failed to listen to the order and missed one of our coffees. When the missed one arrived they were enjoyable but the delay tends to ruin the event.

Stopped by here for lunch when walking the coastal walk from Bondi. Kind of a windy day but nice to sit and eat a salad viewing the beach and the waves. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
