Close your eyes as you go into Tamper and then open them to find you've been transported across the planet. They have elegantly captured the look and feel of Kiwi coffee culture for you to enjoy in fairly central Sheffield. If you know what to expect then you can probably skip the rest of this review. For the uninitiated however, you can expect excellent coffee and a truly innovative food menu in a very stylish but laid back cafe format. I would highly recommend the Turkish eggs the description may sound a little unusual to Western diners but it just works....brilliantly. I recently visited the restaurant with some friends and a baby. It was extremely busy and we were seated at a table that didn't have enough space for a high chair without obstructing the staff carrying hot food and drinks. I had requested a high chair when booking, so I was disappointed with this arrangement and had to hold the baby on our laps instead. There was also no assistance offered in getting the stroller up/down the large step or through the difficult door, which was unfortunate. Despite these challenges, the food was excellent, so I would consider returning without the baby next time.
I visited this restaurant for the first time based on a recommendation and I was not let down. My group of four ordered different dishes and we were all very impressed. The menu had a variety of interesting options, the coffee was excellent, and the service was friendly. I hope to return to Sheffield soon so I can dine here again!
Had an excellent brunch here, yummy avo on toast with beautiful thick bacon and a pot of tea. Great service and atmosphere. Staff really nice and friendly. You can dine in or take out. Buzzing on a Sunday morning. I just wish I had found this cafe on my first day in Sheffield. Would 100% recommend.

Colourful, well presented food, interesting flavour combos and friendly staff. So good we visited two days in a row! Recommend booking ahead on a Sunday morning, but they do have a social table available as well. Also good for a midweek takeaway coffee
Been here twice this month, such an enjoyable breakfast experience. A varied and interesting menu with milk alternatives also. Both breakfasts have been very flavoursome and well presented. Love the decor and relaxed atmosphere, just perfect.
The restaurant is quite popular and the food took a while to be served, but it was delicious once it arrived. The flat white coffee was not hot, but I downed it in one go! It appears to be a trendy spot for younger people.
We visited today with our son and fiancée as they had been in the past, and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent, and the place had a really nice ambience. We will definitely be back.

Best food in sheffield. Incredibly friendly staff and delicious food and drinks. Well worth a visit and can’t wait to return!
