I was in the area and I had a craving for a burger and chicken strips. I ordered a cheese burger combo with a side of chicken strips. I thought it was tasty. The location is an older one and kinda small compared to the other locations I've been to. I ate inside and the atmosphere was pleasant and cool (temperature wise). After my meal I decided to top it off with a vanilla shake and enjoyed that as well. Joshua the employee that took my order was very courteous and professional. Thank you Tam's, and if I'm ever in the area again, I'll make sure to stop by. ?
Great food, old-fashioned American and Mexican cuisine. The staff is great, the service is great when you consider that they appear shorthanded. I wasn't there in 15 years. Booths are gone, replaced by tables. Dining area in the courtyard. Menudo is served every day. Large part of the price. Very good. Nostalgic Diner safe for local residents. Will be back soon.
I called in my order and it arrived in 10 minutes. I paid and tipped, but then I had to wait outside for 30 minutes because my order hadn’t even been started yet. It was a terrible first experience, and I felt like I was wasting my time. However, the food was delicious, so I decided to change my rating from 1 star to 3 stars.
I ordered the menudo. All though it was good. For the price you do not get money's worth. The bowl says large. It was a medium at best. Definitely not worth the price of the bowl. Ordered flower tortilla, she gave me corn ..tried menudo today instead of burgers.
I had breakfast at this place and regretted it. I ordered the Machaca breakfast, but the meat was overly salty and tasted burnt. The restaurant was so dirty and sticky that I just wanted to leave. I definitely won’t be coming back.
I always look forward to visiting Tom's or Tam's for some classic burgers. The family pack I ordered took quite a while to prepare, but the hamburgers were fantastic!
Real good fried chicken dinner. Pastrami was just as good. Great service, freshly made, friendly cashier. Clean place, good atmosphere.
