Good food, indifferent service. We were greeted by a young guy that I'm assuming is the son of the owners. He could not have been less interested in helping us. Every time we had a question about anything it felt as though we were putting him out...hisdemeanor alone is the reason it's not likely that we'll ever return or recommend going there, even though we enjoyed the food.We did have a few interactions with a lady who was kind, but it wasn't enough to make up for his behavior. The way they runtheir restaurant is not obvious to newbies, but the attitude was clear that we should have known. Everything is sold as takeout. You can choose to sit in the restaurant, but everything will be served...
We went here despite the low stars because my hubby said he was craving Indian food and we were pleasantly surprised! I have no idea why people have rated this wonderful restaurant so poorly. I am Indian and hubby, is American and we both loved the food! We ordered samosa, pakora, chhole and chicken tikka masala and 7/10 spice level. Every dish was delicious. It is a take-out place as they don?t have wait staff and so we just took our food and sat in their cozy, breezy outdoor seating area. Everything was hot, freshly made, delicious and tasted like homemade food. It is not ok to give a restaurant low ratings and one star over one issue. So glad we ignored the low stars and went here.
Tandoori Grill: A in Lake George is located very close to the lake, so after driving around, we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, the food was awful—we were served spoiled items. When I pointed this out to the man at the register, he dismissed my concerns, saying, "That's not spoiled. The salad is fine. I’d eat it." We left without eating because they refused to address the issue, expecting us to feed our children bad food. Their poor attitude matched the poor quality of the food. We ended up going to a fish restaurant and later a pizzeria instead. Save yourself the trouble and your money.
Halal food is very scarce in lake George. We drove around a bit and found this place. The food was disgusting. We were served rotten food. I showed the food to the man at the register and he said ? that?s not rotten. That salad is good. I would eat it.?We ended up walking out leaving the food untouched because they were unwilling to do anything about the food, expecting us tofeed our children rotten food. Their attitude is just as disgusting as their food. We ended up at a seafood restaurant and laterat a pizzaria. Save yourself the trouble and your money.

We were a group of 25 and they easily accommodated us, even during the off-season. The food quality was outstanding, with a wide variety of vegetarian options available. The naans and bhaturas were excellent, especially the Peshawari Naan. The flavors of the food were authentic Punjabi.
I visited Tandoori Grill: A in Lake George with my brothers. We ordered three Mango Lassis, Karahi chicken, Daal, and three garlic Naans. Honestly, the naan tasted like store-bought and could be heated better at home. Overall, I felt like spending $77 was a waste.
The prices were extremely steep, and our food came out in just five minutes, which made it seem like it was reheated. The service was slow, and the woman at the front desk was not very helpful. We won’t be coming back to this restaurant.
Super expensive we ordered food which was ready in 5 mins which mean it was pre-heated food.. slow customer service and even lady at receptionist desk was horrible. We are never coming back here ever again.

Beautiful place in upstate NY. Gorgeous ambiance and smells amazing as soon as you enter. Food is delicious and good size portions. The lady at the front is very kind and welcoming. Love this place!
I am shocked by the low average rating of this restaurant. We have visited several times, including during peak season and now in early April. This place definitely deserves more than 4 stars!
