I have taken several meat eaters to this restaurant and everyone agrees that Tane (also known as Shizen in SF) is a perfect 10 out of 10. My top picks are the Pacifica and Sunset rolls. The Sweet Potato roll is also delightful and more affordable. I do wish they offered some rotating specials though. It seems like the menu has remained the same for the past five years, including at Shizen, which has been operating for even longer but offers the same dishes under different names.
I can't believe this! I have dined at this restaurant many times, but when I ordered online, I was given these tiny rolls. They charge more for DoorDash and give you less? That is absolutely ridiculous. They are already expensive. When I dine in, the rolls are large and served on a long plate, but when they are delivered to my home, two of their special rolls only took up half the box. This issue needs to be resolved.
I am a fan of vegan ramen and I must say, theirs was delicious. It came with a smoky tofu that was not my favorite, but the broth and noodles were fantastic. The broth had a rich and incredible flavor, and the noodles were perfectly springy and chewy. I also enjoyed the California roll, the rice was high quality and tasted great.
This is my favorite vegan restaurant in the Bay Area. The Spicy Miso Garlic Ramen and California rolls are my go-to comfort foods. I often bring non-vegans here when I want to impress them and make sure they walk away satisfied. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The atmosphere is nice, the service is pleasant, and the food is delicious. The flavors are wonderful and the presentation is exquisite. Overall, it was a delightful experience.
I was a little let down by the portion size of the Eggplant Tataki (GF) (4 pieces), but the preparation and flavors of both dishes were fantastic.
