Without a booking, the restaurant was able to offer us a walk-in table on a Saturday night. That was impressive. We had been told about The Tannin Level by friends who praised it highly. We were not disappointed. Our starters (scallops for me and black pudding for she) were delicious. For mains, I had slow cooked lamb which was superb and Pat raved about her Trio of Pork (oddly named, because it was actually a Duo). Accompanied by very nice Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir from the “by the glass” selection. No room left for desserts so we just finished with coffee. We will be back.

This is the 2nd visit we've made here and once again we weren't disappointed. Fantastic produce cooked brilliantly. Lovely relaxed vibe, friendly staff, what a gem this place is. Great value for the quality of food that is being served too. Will be back for sure!
Never eaten here before was very impressed! The service was brilliant and we were well looked after, the food was epic clean plates all around the beef tenderloin is excellent compliments to the chef!! All in all a fantastic night recommend

Great food. great service Recommend this place for a Sunday lunch. The beef was amazing (and the fish and chips weren't far behind).
