I have only ordered takeout from this restaurant, so I can't speak to the dine-in experience, but the takeout has been excellent. I tried both sushi and a meal, and they were well-prepared and maintained their quality during transport (which isn't always the case with takeout). The portion sizes met my expectations, and the presentation was impressive. I also appreciated how clean the restaurant was. I ordered during the peak of the pandemic when many places were cutting corners on health guidelines. While in town for work, I had a craving for sushi and came across this restaurant nearby, just under 10 minutes away. I decided to give it a try, and I'm glad I did! The gyoza (pan-fried, as it should be) was excellent and had a fresh taste. I also enjoyed the spicy tuna roll and the Tanpopo special roll, both of which were delicious. The restaurant is cozy and small, but since I was the only customer there around 6:00 PM on a Wednesday, it wasn’t an issue at all. I would definitely return to this place in the future.
Best sushi in Wallingford/Meriden area. We are familiar with all the sushi places in Wallingford/Meriden. This is our favorite. It's a small restaurant but the sashimi is melt in your mouth fresh. They clearly take pride in their craft.

This is the perfect little sushi place! The service is fantastic, and you can bring your own drinks if you're eating in. Everything we've tried has been excellent!
food are fresh, serving is quick. Location is very convenient. Home made miso soup and ginger dressing are super delicious! Highly recommended.
It took me a lot of bad sushi, to finally find a great sushi spot in the area. I recommend to everyone who asks about sushi.
