I stopped in for a cup of tea in the late morning and immediately felt welcomed. I returned for lunch and had the beef and fried onion baguette, which was absolutely fabulous. The restaurant seemed very popular as we got the last two baguettes. The staff were friendly, polite, and efficient. If you love cake, you must visit as all the cakes are hand-made and of high quality. The prices are very reasonable and offer excellent value for money. I will definitely be returning in the future.
What a delight, asked for afternoon tea £9.95) it would have served two people! Freshly made sandwiches of your choice with a lovely salad, crisps coleslaw, scone with Tiptree jam, butter and clotted cream, and a pot of tea or coffee and an amazing choice of cake. During our journey from Norwich to Bridlington, we stopped in Horncastle for lunch. This restaurant seemed to be quite popular as there were people willing to wait for a table. I enjoyed a delicious strong double shot Americano, tasty beans on toast, and a delightful piece of chocolate cake.
popular caffe, visited by local and tourist. the homemade cakes, of which there are many possibilities, are delicious. I can also choose for the English breakfast made from high quality products, definitely worth a visit if they are in the horncastle opposite.
