Having recently visited Japan, when we returned my partner and I were on the hunt for some decent sushi trains. Tao provided that, plus a varied hot menu as well. We have been several times since then, using it to introduce our family to a larger variety of sushi and other Asian delights, like mochi. The booths are quite large - we comfortably fit 8 people in the one we booked last visit. They also have the traditional bars and two seater tables around the sushi train, and a large restaurant section away from the train. The price is reasonable and the staff friendly. We'll be back again.
We decided to have a quick bite before having to go to the hospital.We had the Goa and the tempura prawns off the menu. The prawns were to die for. 6 plump prawns in a lovely batter accompanied with a fragrant sauce. The best I have had for awhile. The Goa were baked which was different but nice. From the sushi train we had some sashimi-had a little too much sinew for my liking. Followed by crab on a potato pattie - that was tasty. We also had octopus balls which were doughy and macaroons which were stale. Would consider ordering all from menu next time.
Had to find a place to have a meal after a long morning of kids' sporting activities and Tao Cafe was perfect. The wonderful sushi train makes it possible to snack on something light while waiting for our food ordered from the menu. The portions are very large and next time we will share meals but it was fresh and very tasty. Couldn't fault anything from the menu and the items we had from the sushi train were very tasty. The chocolate mousse and pecan nut pie were awesome. We will definitely go back there again.
We went there for the second time last weekend because the kids love the sushi train. It is a very easy way to feed them healthy food and keep them entertained. I had Teriyaki fish in a bento box. All very tasty. Service was good, the venue is attractive, clean and pricing is reasonable. Great for families, large choice of Asian food on the menu, so should be able to please everyone.

As always a friendly greeting. The Sushi train is awesome and the choice varied. The food is authentic and is Delicious. Menu has changed slightly and portions are slightly smaller but still good value. The resturant is now licenced with prices on the high side for beer and wine.Take your own wine with corkage at $6 it is better.
I'll come back again and again! I've started with 2 chicken spring rolls, it was yummy! Then we had a Katsu chicken, and a beef teriyaki with steam rice! It was very good and better than some asian restaurant we've tried before around Perth.We can't wait to come and try the sushi train, looks exciting :D
We opted Ala Carte over Sushi for dinner and ordered variety of Thai, Vietnamese and Japanese food. Food quality, taste and portions were all good and the service was also good.
Delicious really worth the trip!! Drunken noodles are amazing. My first time here and I will be back A LOT. Also has a sushi train with a lot of options
