My wife and I decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary at TAPS and the MGM casino. I've always seen the TAPS restaurant during the many times we visited the MGM casino but never went in there to eat. I saw that the TAP Sports Bar has blocked the entrance outside of the casino and now requires patrons to get to the restaurant by coming through the casino first. The hostess greeted us and there was no one in line so we were able to be seated immediately. Before being seated, the hostess interestingly asked for my name and phone . I received a text message after she asked for that information stating that we were placed on the waiting list while we were being seated by the hostess. That mom...
I hate this place. The service is terrible. It took 15 min for one of what seemed like 10 bartenders to acknowledge us. They acted as if we were invisible. I had to flag one of them down. When we finally got someone's attention, the bartender was not friendly. She acted as if we were bothering her. It took 20 mins for her to make a damn vodka cranberry that had a ridiculous amount of juice in it. my friend ordered a lemon drop, and that tasted terrible too. We decided we would not be wasting any more money on drinks at this place. We typically like to run up a tab on a Saturday but this was not our tribe. We felt extremely unwelcome. Mind you, it was not that busy and they were FULLY STAFFED...
Omg, more like TAPPED OUT and rather rude hosts for staff! Please get organized and training. There were open tables seen, uncalled patrons after hours of waiting to be seated. Folks waiting to get waiters and food/drinks...pure ridiculousness! If it had not been kareoki night, for distraction, no way we'd remain. Oh clean up between vomit and trays were the specials. I can't see this establishment remaining with clearly a lack of management . We sung a duet..rocked the house, won a raffle prize, there after the restaurant hosts texted us after two hours...she was distracted told us to stand by as she walked away, so we left. We spent zero dollars. Wow, smdh needless to say we won't be back....
Sunday Funday at Taps Pros: 1. the atmosphere is good 2. Mixture of fans 3. Servers are doing there best to serve with limited staff. I witness several people just giving up and leaving. 4. DJ keeps the vibe hype Cons: 1. Games start at 1 however the TVs are not on the games. 2. Sound not working for the TVs 3. They have a raffle that is only for people setting at tables. To get a table you must spend $75 per person. If you spend the same amount sitting at the bar you can't be included in the raffle. Spoke to manager and he didn't have an answer for why I could get a raffle ticket when my bill was already $75.

The organization of this establishment leaves much to be desired. I attended the Commanders watch party last night, only to find that entry was restricted to individuals with reservations, a detail that was not clearly communicated in the email prior to the event. I attempted to contact the venue multiple times earlier that day, anticipating that the event would reach capacity, but unfortunately, my calls went unanswered. Consequently, I opted to go to the MGM Sports Bar and Lounge, which provided a significantly more pleasant experience.
We went to TAP Bar and watched The Commanders beat Dallas. The bar was packed, we met a lot of people, made some new friends, and even ran into some local TV personalities. The food was good. The atmosphere was vibrant. We will definitely be revisiting this spot again. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Burger
While the atmosphere was cool, and the food was ok. It was so crowded that we were constantly forgotten. Also, it's hard to get a table, so get there hours ahead of time to get a table. Hopefully, they won't rush you out of it. 50/50 there. Price per person: $50–100 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
