this family-run restaurant in the southern city tomiño has loyal customers both for its tapas dishes and for its location in a hill. because it is housed in a typical stone of galiciia, casa faustino offers a rustic winery. when they find the... storage in a sackgasse, they are greeted by weeping, weeping, car wheels and older ploughs. it offers a relaxed and cozy atmosphere along with a charming environment. the clientel is a mixture of families and tourists, as the employees speak German and English. there is no dress code. even though they serve “Tapas” which are intended as small dishes, the portions are large enough for a main dish. this restaurant was hard to find, but it is worth it. the food was excellent and the owner really friendly, so far go to make a great effort for our (vegan) daughter unusual in spania. we don't speak much Spanish, but again the owner...may speak something English and good German so that we could understand each other. highly recommended.
Pedimos para llevar entrecot, chocos plancha y pimientos de padrón. Todo muy rico, el sitio está en un alto muy bonito. Por lo que nos dijeron cierran en septiembre definitivamente, una pena que no haya relevo generacional.
