The green salsa is worth the trip alone. So creamy and tastes of poblano. The OG Abasolo is a long standing staple in the Near Northside of town, with quick access via the train into Downtown Houston.
Nice place, friendly and friendly service, affordable prices, excellent food and drinks. Very authentic Mexican restaurant.
About as old school as you can get,BUT, great service and food.Give them a try if you 're ever in the area.
The food is really great and I like funny and beautiful waitresses.
