With 2 bottled drinks, came out to $48 each (when did tacos become so expensive? or $53.xx if paying with card which I think is ridiculous. There’s no receipt so I have no idea how much individually. On to the tacos, they didn’t come with double tortillas like I’m used to. Thankfully, they were not too soggy so did not completely fall apart. The truth is they are the best tacos I have ever eaten. My husband is Mexican and he doesn't eat Mexican food from anywhere, because he says they don't have the Mexican flavor. But we love Brenda Lee's tacos at Patterson. And the staff is very attentive, which is something very important in any food place. And those spicy sauces and the roasted onions with the nopales!! Ummm and I better not even continue because it makes me hungry. ??????
No waiters, you order and pick up your food at the counter. There are a few tables. No menu, just tacos. Each order has 4 tacos, we were told $13 but we were actually charged $11 (plus $2 for each drink from the fridge). The tacos were not that big, single tortilla. Kinda small actually. I wouldn't say they're more delicious than any other taquerias we've been in. Street parking was difficult. Lock your car.
too expensive for what they offer, I bought 10 orders, they didn't give me cucumbers or radishes, just a lot of spicy sauce, the carnita or the carne al pastor don't have any flavor. These are my favorite tacos so far! I always order the Bistec tacos because they are perfectly seasoned and served on a fresh, soft tortilla. The green and red salsa are always delicious. These classic tacos will definitely have you craving more. Plus, they are quick to be ready, which is a big bonus for me.
I was looking forward to these tacos especially because the tortillas are hand made. I was disappointed as the meat was not seasoned well. It was either over seasoned or under seasoned.
Very bad communication and they treat you poorly, they say one thing and it is another and they treat you like they don't want to sell that restaurant very badly.
