A beautiful find in Pleasanton! We have been missing Mexican food since we recently moved from SoCal. Located on a charming street next to an ice cream shop, this taqueria has a lot to offer. We ordered three flautaquitos, which were hot and fresh, generously topped with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and crema. I chose the super burrito with shrimp, and it was huge and delicious. The super burrito included rice, beans, cheese, guacamole, and salsa inside. If you order the jumbo, it has all the fillings of a super burrito plus lettuce and tomatoes. The pinto beans were great – not refried. The shrimp had nicely cooked peppers, similar to fajitas. The burritos were so large that I had to take half...
We used Don Chepe to cater my retirement at the local army base. The entire experience was great. We ordered food for 80. We had more then enough food. Everyone loves it and commented how good it was especially the carnitas . They sent me with several salsa and pico. Plenty! And tons of chips and tortillas. We worked with Joe. Friendly. Very reasonable fair prices. Accommodating. Easy pick up. They sent the food in warming containers for easier travel and keeping it safe! Super happy! We went there twice to test the food leading up to ordering for the event. We will be back when in the area. Of course I didn't get a photo of the food. Highly recommend it! So this place came highly recommended by Alicia our local yelp CM and I had to try it out right away. Gotta say she knows her Mexican food The soft tacos with pollo asada were great! Salsa very flavorful and spicy just how I like it. Chicken was fresh and tender. The crunchy tacos : the tacos themselves were fresh tasting, not too oily. The meat barbacao however could have been better.. Price is great too.. a little over 10 dollars for 3 tacos. It doesn't have the best ambiance but is clean with plenty of seating available. Overall this place has great food at a very reasonable price. I'd def be eating here again!
I've lived in Pleasanton for 20ish years and never been here since I always go to fiesta but lately been trying different places for fun.So I finally got to go here since my lady was craving tortas.Unlucky for her they were out of bread hahaI got a super quesadilla with pollo asado and 2 tacos barbacoa and Al pastor.Was pretty good. The food was excellent and the service was top-notch. The al pastor tacos were especially delicious. The restaurant offers a good selection of vegetarian options, including tacos, burritos, and enchiladas. There is ample parking available and the restaurant is wheelchair accessible, making it easy for all customers to enjoy.
I've never eaten inside, we have always ordered take out, but it's been absolutely wonderful every time! Our order has been messed up a few times but honestly, the food is so great and it's such a minor thing that it doesn't matter. Five stars forever
The asada tacos at this restaurant are absolutely delicious, with a great texture and flavor. The salsas are just right, providing a perfect balance of heat and depth of flavor. Overall, the service was excellent and the tacos were very good.
