I ordered some tacos, and they arrived piping hot—so hot, in fact, that I burned my tongue, but I appreciate the heat! The al pastor was good and flavorful, though a bit too salty due to heavy seasoning. The carne asada was well-marinated, and the lengua was delicious! It was well-cooked, almost a little dry, but still very tasty. The tacos come with a side of homemade green sauce that packs a bit of a kick. There’s only outdoor seating under a white tent with three walls, which traps the heat quite effectively, so it can get uncomfortably hot inside. This place is THE BEST. Not only are the tacos fresh and delicious, the people that run this taco stand are genuinely friendly, and customer oriented. I am a regular customer at their market and they treat everyone like family. Ever get a Hello. How are you? when you walk in the door of Sav-Mart or Food For Less? Well, that 's what you get here. For a small market they don 't get the same bulk pricing on supplies like the big markets do. Yet they strive to keep prices low for their customers rather than make a huge profit like some others. Literally the ABSOLUTE BEST TACOS I HAVE EVER HAD! I live in Bakersfield and will start driving up to Terra Bella a lot more in the summer and we wanted to find a good place to get lunch while we were out there... and there are NOT many places to eat there but man this place... just amazing. The best flavor ever and their tortillas are warmed in oil so they are slightly crispy. We had 2 Asada tacos, 3 Cavesa tacos, 2 Lengua tacos and a ceviche tostada. Guess how much? Nope, $10.50! These are the best tasting carne asada tacos burritos in the valley. They open from 10am 9pm Tue Sun. It's a taco truck that sits in front of the carniceria. If you don't see the truck out front, then its not open. The owner just told me they will also be serving burgers and fries soon.
