I rarely expect much from chain restaurants at this price, but the food at Taqueria Tsunami stayed on my mind well into the next day! The value is incredible, and the service was excellent. I ordered the Tsunami Trio, which includes two tacos and a side, while my partner went for the Quattro, with three tacos and a side. The selection of unique taco flavors is impressive! I chose a shrimp tempura taco and a mahi taco, and my partner tried the Korean carnitas, Bulgogi asada, and Pacific Rim mahi tacos. Each taco was fresh and full of flavor, without being overloaded with sauce.

The service was decent. The waitress was friendly, but I was disappointed that she didn't serve our meals at the same time. My party of five had to wait an additional five minutes for my dish before we could all start eating together. She also wasn't very attentive during our meal, as she didn’t check on us frequently. While the presentation of the food was beautiful and the flavors were pleasant, overall, the dishes didn't leave a lasting impression. My shrimp was dry and overcooked. I expected bolder flavors at a Latin-Asian fusion restaurant. I might consider returning to try the tacos, as my guests mentioned they were excellent.
The Korean fried cauliflower came with a tasty sauce, though the batter could have been crispier. Of the tacos I sampled, the baja fish taco was by far my favorite. Unfortunately, both the shrimp and fried fish tacos lacked flavor and sauce. On the bright side, everything was very fresh! The yuca fries were somewhat bland, but making them truly flavorful can be a challenge.
This is definitely one of my favorite places to eat whenever I’m in Peachtree Corners. There are so many delicious tacos to choose from! My personal favorite is the fried cauliflower taco, but the Korean carnitas is fantastic too. The food is great, the service is good, and the prices are reasonable. I couldn't ask for anything more!
