Fantastic end to a long holiday of not necessarily great food throughout Andalucia. On our brief stop in Faro, our host and fellow guests (Opus One Guest House) recommended the place which was just a few minutes walk for us. We were not disappointed as the welcome was friendly, the wine delicious, and the food....well, this was just what we dreamed to have (we shared pork/clam Cataplana). It was deliciously fresh, we sampled two wonderful desserts (sweet potato/almond cake carob/lemon) after, then tasted the chefs Raspberry liqueur. The restaurant was quiet because we ate early, but this meant we had really nice conversation with our hosts in this fabulous small restaurant. A lasting memory...
Absolutely in love with this place! Second year coming here and NOT disappointed at all! We had the “cataplana marisca” which is a delicious and big seafood platter for 2 persons. The sauce is to die for and the seafood perfect cooked.. We will definitely come back AGAIN! Food, wine, dessert, all at a perfect reasonable price.
Voilà bien le genre d'endroit qu'on rêve de découvrir lors d'un city trip. Quoi de mieux que d'expérimenter la cuisine locale sous son meilleur jour ? Ce fut chose faite chez Chafariz où nous sommes retournés trois soirs de suite, histoire d'explorer au mieux sa carte de mets et de vins !

Truly delicious food made with love. João and his team know their craft well. Happy to come back, I felt like home. The octopus was delicious and the vegetables curry too.
Um lugar muito aconchegante e com atendimento muito simpático! Deliciosas cataplanas acabadas de fazer e sobremesas caseiras valem definitivamente a pena!
Muito gentil e comida muito boa. O local também é muito agradável. Temos a cataplana de frutos do mar que foi fantástica.
