We tried this for the first time. Is an improvement on our previous regular eatery. A real high point was the prompt delivery. The food arrived in good time. Some of the dishes were outstanding and would quality this review as 3.5. The char Siu pork with beans sprouts was delicious well cooked, same for the chicken in Szechuan sauce, the seafood Singapore fried noodles was disappointing not enough seafood, just 1 scallop and a couple of pieces of very rubbery squid. Been coming here ever since I can remember pretty much spent every family birthday here too because it was always our favourite Chinese restaurant in NW London. Since the new ownership, the decor has changed making the place look cheaper (not the biggest of deals) but the food has COMPLETELY changed! The flavour was not only awful but a lot of the ingredients have changed, making them totally different to their usual signature dishes. For a Chinese restaurant not to have babycorn and water chestnuts as ingredients anymore and to replace it with sweetcorn and other non chinese ingredients and charge extortionate prices for it, is a bit of a joke. Taste of china used to be one of the better standard restaurants in Harrow with an exceptional reputation. I visited this week after many years and will not be returning. The food was nothing special and very over priced, I can't see why. Kids didn't enjoy it either. The service was excellent, timely and overall not issues. I didn't check the other reviews before visiting as I know they had a good reputation and have visited previously. I wish I had though.
I went to Tsate of China resturant this was rommended by a local taxi driver. I found decor old and tired and rundown. They have Mandatory surcharge of 12.5% added to your food bill, this is disgrace as food is already over priced. The quality of food is not great. We ordered 2 dishes and a portion of spring rolls, this cost us £60.I would not be going to this place again, expensive, average food, decor old, service on great.

We visited on first week of January 2022 and had set meal A. The starters were okay but didn't taste fresh. The 2 main meals were not very tasty/exciting; rice Vegetable dish were good. The cost was far in excess of the value and service charge of 12.5% should be optional not mandatory, although the service was friendly and efficient.
We have been coming here for years and years and it was our favourite Chinese restaurant. Unfortunately they have changed hands and the food was soooo disappointing! Service rushed, lighting shocking and decor appalling! Never ever coming back!
The restaurant is always busy which is a good sign so it's vital to book if you want to be sure of a table. The restaurant has a very extensive menu and caters for all tastes. Good selection of drinks and very helpful and friendly staff.
It was a great restaurant been over 200 times, now time to call it a day, rubbish food and service , getting away as not many Chinese restaurants around the area, they know it

Not welcoming, One of the orders was very salty, I do not recommend it, not freshly made food. We had bad experience. We will never go back to this restaurant.
Food was overpriced, waited for a long time to get the order placed. Taste wasn't good. Ambience was good.
