This time I visited Ramadan, so it was pretty quiet. I had no time to eat at this time as I did one of the walking tours, but really wanted; I am very much of the authentic decoration and music you want to move. I live in Nova Scotia, but I am trying to go a day on the ferry just to take the buffet on Friday and Saturday. The prices are very reasonable and this time I had a pack and pommes with the garlic Mayo. The Mayo is wonderful! I ate my frits (peelings up and the longest I've ever seen) when I left and had my wrap at the hotel. Food is excellent quality. A very unique place in SJ. The ambience is very relaxed and welcoming plus the attention to detail the Egyptian theme is excellent. We ordered the shrimp and mixed platter. The order did not take long to arrive. Every bit was equally delicious, the portion size was okay. I think we will visit again if we visit SJ. Definitely recommend for Halal food buyers. Food is average slightly bland. Portions small for middle eastern restaurant. Rice was terrible. Refills for pop are charged. $4 upcharge for Egyptian salad. One time visit. No alcohol available. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$40–50 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
