This restaurant is undoubtedly one of the best in the city. I’m not usually a fan of Indian Chilli Chicken— in fact, I usually dislike it. However, the Chilli Chicken here is fantastic and turned out to be my favorite dish of them all. The Tandoori Chicken was moist, tender, and bursting with flavor. It’s a fantastic Indian restaurant, and if you live in the southern part of Calgary, this should be your top choice whenever you’re craving Indian food.
Taste of Himalayas Calgary; We recently visited from Toronto- Exceptional customer service and wonderful atmosphere. The pakoras and samosas were authentic and delicious and the naan bread. I highly recommend this place for the genuineity of it, the high quality of the food.Few more items to mention- Chilli chicken, MO:MO, Yellow Daal, chilli Paneer many more..A must try place with your friends family.Beautiful Ambience Smily customer services.
I had a brief and insightful conversation with the owner about cultural topics and the teapot, Karuwa. He was very polite. The chef was lovely as well. A funny coincidence was that I was listening to the OM Ganesha song, and as I walked into the restaurant, there was an elephant photo. The lamb was delicious!
Our meal was fantastic! We asked our friendly server for recommendations, and they were more than happy to help. We ordered three dishes along with rice and naan, plus an appetizer, which ended up being sufficient for two meals! I really enjoyed the level of spice! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Came right when they opened at 4 and I will have to make my way over here more often. Tried the butter chicken, momo , and shrimp biryanis and was delighted. The service was courteous and attentive. Definitely recommend when you’re in the area!
Always delicious every time I come year (which has been for years) and has many options for people with dietary restrictions! They have super welcoming and friendly staff and servers as well! Taste of Himalayas is my favorite restaurant!
Authentic and delicious Nepalese food. Nice and cozy environment. Friendly staffs. Himalayan cocktail (house recipe) was so good and refreshing. Highly recommend this place to get a taste of Nepal.

"the dumplings and chicken feet taste quite good. the sauce on the chicken feet is alright, I find it a little too greasy, or maybe that's just the way how its supposed to be. service is fast but probably because I'm the only customer during my visit!"

"Even though it was a slow night at the restaurant (due to a holiday), we received subpar service. Our chicken tikka was delivered 25 minutes after the rest of our order. The manager did refund the dish, but we still left feeling unsatisfied."
