Edit: We continue to really enjoy the food here. It is nice that we can adjust the spice order on the dishes so mom can enjoy it also. In all the years we have been going here we only had one small mishap. And, that was a little mis communication. If we had ordered by the number on the menu, it would not have happened. They proudly took care of it. And, we are happy as ever! Thank you and see you again soon. The food here is REALLY GOOD. Most dishes they ask if you want mild or spicy. The naan is nice and lite and cook just how you like! Thank you. Just wish they could bring back their buffet.
I ate here for lunch and got samosas and aloo gobi. The samosa was good, but the tamarind dipping sauce was bland. The aloo gobi was alright, but I am highly suspicious it was microwaved and not made fresh. The texture of the cauliflower and potato was not that of fresh cooked. I got it medium spicy and it was not spicy at all. Usually, medium spicy at an Indian restaurant is still really spicy. I don't think I will be tasting the Himalayas again anytime soon.
First visit for lunch, was looking forward to the buffet but was told its no longer available. Ordered Chicken Jalfrazie which was served lukewarm, chicken was overcooked and dry. Vegetable samosa lacked flavor. A little refresh of the dining room and re-addition of the lunch buffet would compliment the great location in St. Charles.
My wife and I just dined here for the first time, and I can confidently say we will be coming back frequently. The food was incredibly delicious and bursting with flavor—definitely some of the best we've had in a while. We can't wait for our next visit! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
An absolutely excellent experience. Very authentic food, unique ambiance, and an endearing owner who really cares about the quality and the experience. I’ll definitely go back!
Stingy ,Not recommended. Food need forever to get ready. Super stingy. You need to beg them to get 1 spoon. And they just give you 1 spoon not 2.
I did a take out. Very tasty food. Well priced. Very humble people. Would love to dine in someday.
