After hearing excellent reviews of this takeaway, we decided to give it a try even though we were already satisfied with our usual choice, Barnsley House, which is located nearby in Lundwood. We placed our order and were informed that it would be ready for collection in 10 minutes, which left us wondering if this meant they were not very busy. Our experience was disappointing - the Salt Pepper Spare Ribs were mostly fat and ended up being thrown away. The main courses were bland and lacked flavor, with an excessive amount of onions and other cheap fillers used as substitutes for meat. Despite the lack of meat, it was tender and not dry. This Chinese restaurant is far from mediocre. The portions were generous, especially the mains. The complimentary prawn crackers were small, but at least they were free. The service was polite and friendly, and our meal arrived quickly after ordering at the counter. Although the container said the food was microwavable, it didn't taste like it had been reheated. The cheese spring rolls were crispy and actually tasted like cheese. Parking is challenging due to the restaurant's location on a busy street, but there is a car park nearby for convenience.

Very pleased, we'd moved house that day and so just wanted quick, hot, good, food and that's just what we got: Really good quality, nice variety of rices and noodles, the mixed starters were great and the chicken bals were awesome. I love to get Chinese from Taste of Hong Kong. This was the place I got my first ever Chinese from and honestly it was absolutely gorgeous. I also tried another one down the road but that one was appalling. I would definitely recommend this Chinese. Overall, the staff are very polite and the food tastes good x
This was our first time ordering from this restaurant and we were not let down. The delivery arrived on time (unlike most deliveries) and the food was hot and delicious. We ordered from the 4 dishes for £14.99 menu and will definitely be ordering from here again.
I don’t know what to say for the title, other than my emotion. So as you can see I am quite impressed, it makes me want to go to China just from the food here! Something as simple as fried rice can taste good. I don’t know how to express how great the quality is!
Really nice food! A nice mix between thai and chinese! I am vegatarien and i love how much selection there is! They have a mix and match section where you can basically create your own dish with anything from the menu. Would reccomend a visit. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Use this restaurant more than any in barnsley.. food always very tasty and piping hot. Never been disappointed.
