Taste of Jamaica in Atlanta lives up to its name by offering authentic Jamaican cuisine. The chefs at this restaurant have done an amazing job of bringing quality Jamaican food to the table. The dishes are fresh, flavorful, and seasoned to perfection. I had the jerk chicken with rice and peas, cabbage, and plantains, all washed down with ginger beer. The portion sizes were generous and left me feeling satisfied. I also indulged in some beef patties for later, which were also fantastic. I ordered this on doordash. The reviews on doordash as well as google raved praises about this place. But this is the worst Jamaican food I’ve ever had. I ordered stew chicken rice and peas and cabbage. The cabbage had no seasoning. BLAND. The rice was subpar, and the gravy tasted and looked like straight up ketchup. Where was the browninggggg? Ugh. Take me back to Ochi.

On Uber eats there is a buy 1 get 1 free for the curry Chicken plate that comes served with ? rice. The price of $12 is perfect for the amount you get.Definitely enjoyed the plate. Thanks !Food: 5/5
