I 'm not sure what island I tasted, but it was definitely not a good taste. I asked if they had two items, and they were out. I then said, "Let me go with the curry chicken with cabbage and white rice. I soon realized that was a mistake. The rice looks as if it was wet. Not because they placed sauce on it, but it was beyond overcooked. The cabbage was steamed cabage that some curry was thrown in with it during the cooking process, and that 's it. There was no island or soul put into this meal. This place reminds me of carryout that does fried chicken. That 's about it.
Poor Customer Service!!!! I Placed an order on DoorDash for two j chicken bowl with rice and beans and a fish dinner. After placing the order I missed a call from the restaurant and they left a voicemail stating they had no rice and beans. Once I called back the person that answered the phone was very rude and made a substitution without my consent. Offering no solution the lady said “take it up with DoorDash” and hung up on me. The food was under seasoned and not authentic! Save your time and money and order somewhere else!
As for the food, I rate it a solid 5 out of 5. The service is equally impressive, also earning a 5-star rating, and the atmosphere is delightful, also rated 5. I highly recommend trying the Curry Chicken, Jerk Chicken, Rice and Peas, and Brown Stew Chicken. Additionally, there's ample free parking available, which is a nice bonus.
I placed a catering order for my holiday party j chicken, rice and peas, plantains, Mac n cheese. They were very professional, affordable and the order was ready on time. Everything was hot and delicious!! J chicken was so flavorful and the Mac n cheese bubbling on top. I highly recommend.

If your looking for some great caribbean food, this is the place to stop. I ordered the oxtails, pasta, rice and peas. Everything was outstanding and tasty. Seasoned just right. It even came with a little pickled relish to top it off! I loved it and will be returning soon.
New to the area. Was craving Caribbean food and THIS HIT THE SPOT! Everything was cooked fresh! The owner and staff were friendly, inviting and double checked the order. Food was delicious . . .every single bite! We will definitely come back!
The J Chicken tasted okay but was not what I am used to or would call authentic. Tasted like brown stewed chicken instead of j Not much more to say but I would not try it again. I did not try anything else so I cannot comment on other
The restaurant lacks any organization and does not adhere to scheduled times! I would rate the food as a 2, the service as a 1, and the atmosphere as a 2.
