I was disappointed with my meal. The Angus scotch fillet I ordered had an excessive amount of gristle, which was quite off-putting. I requested it to be cooked medium, but it arrived nearly blue instead; my dining companion's steak was well done. It was a shame, as it could have been a nice cut of meat. Additionally, paying $6 for surf and shake felt unreasonable, especially since we only received three garnishes. Overall, it was a letdown.
They should start with good quality cuts of meat for beginners and ensure they know how to cook them properly!
