We spent the weekend in the area after traveling from London and spent over an hour searching for a place to eat. After entering and leaving three restaurants because their kitchens were closed (on a Saturday afternoon, no less), we finally came across this gem. The food was delicious, the staff were fantastic, and the prices were very reasonable. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20.
Absolutely the best ribs and coleslaw I've ever had, and that's just from my selection off the amazing menu! I traveled from London after hearing so many wonderful reviews, and I was not disappointed! I highly recommend it. If you want a great selection of dishes, I suggest arriving earlier rather than later! Service: Dine-in Meal type: Dinner
Ribs that didn't even make the table, sticky unctuous gems, tender, sweet and savoury. Curried goat, tender and moorish with that fabulous lingering heat, savoury rice and peas. Amazing Jamaican restaurant. Nothing else like it in the area. Place does get very busy so expect a decent wait (10-15 mins to just be served is average) but the food is incredible and well worth the wait. Would highly recommend
A fantastic find, we were looking for a place to eat on the way home from a trip. Five of us had lunch all enjoyed it. The staff are wonderful as was the food. The goat curry was superb.
