One of my favorite places to get dumplings is at Tasty Place. The restaurant is small but cozy. Workers are very friendly with great services. My husband and I used to come here often when we lived in Millbrae. Our favorite is their house salad and the fish dumplings. They used to give free shredded potato on the side, which brought my husband back to his childhood when his grandma used to make it. The food at this restaurant is decent, but there is room for improvement. The service is great and the atmosphere is very family friendly. We tried the fresh fish fillet with pickled mustard, which had a good sour flavor but could use more spice and pickled leaves. The fish itself was very good. We also ordered the Spicy Chicken, which was tasty but could have been more flavorful - it was mostly salty and lacking in aroma. We were looking for a good beef noodle soup place and have seen Tasty Place on El Co, so we decided to try it out. The name itself made me salivate, but did it live up to it's name? not so much. Although not crowded, the service was very very slow. Ordered the braised beef brisket soup and found it just so so. The broth and noodles were okay, but overall the soup didn't hit home like I expected. Perhaps the other dishes on the menu are Tasty, but the street parking, slow service and meh soup probably won't have me coming back again.
We ordered Kung Pao Chicken, house special noodles soup and general Tao 's chicken lunch special. The noodles soup was ok. Nothing special. Have alittle numbing to it. General Tao wasn 't my favorite. They tasted more like orange chicken to me. King pao chicken is good out of all the three dishes I ordered.

I was pleasantly surprised by the consistently delicious food at this restaurant. The soups always impress me with their quality. However, I do think that the sweet and sour sauce has an excessive amount of red food coloring, as it tends to stain my son's lips. Despite this, he really enjoys the dish.
We had a wonderful dinner tonight at this restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. I would give the food a perfect 5 out of 5 rating.
Everything was good! Foods were good even though not outstanding. Right portion. Friendly service. Clean. Nice atmosphere. Good place for lunch/easy dinner.
We ordered several things, all good but all tasted about the same. Service it attentive. The house made hot soy milk is perfection and worth a visit.
