I don't usually like to leave bad reviews but I was so disappointed I wanted to spare other vegans the same experience. I was asked if I had any dietary requirements and I said I was vegan. They brought my mushroom spring rolls out with a sour cream dip which wasn't vegan. The waiter said he could make the Singapore noodles vegan too, but when it arrived it had an egg in it The Tofu hotpot was very tasty and the vegan chick'n and black bean was too but not worth the cost. Very expensive!! There is a DJ playing music that is so loud you can barely hear the people at your own table. I know some other reviews mention a lack of vegan options, but I visited last month and was pleasantly surprised by the extensive vegan selections. It really seemed like they put thought into making them both unique and appealing, and I found everything to be incredibly delicious. They offered a variety of dishes, including plant-based alternatives, exciting tofu balls, baked eggplant, and many others. I couldn't try everything because there was just too much to eat! Dining here is truly an experience that’s hard to put into words; it’s something you have to experience for yourself. We visited Tattu about a year ago, and at that time, they only had two vegan options on the entire menu. I tried both, and they were quite mediocre. I promised myself I wouldn't return, but during a recent trip to Leeds, we hadn't made any dinner reservations, and Tattu was pretty much our only option. Reluctantly, I agreed to give it another try, and I'm so glad I did! They've updated their vegan options, which now match the quality of the other dishes. They even offer the "Wok Fired Angry Bird," which was one of my favorites before going vegan! I was very impressed by this positive change and will definitely be going back.
Our Paolo server at Leeds Tattu was the highlight of our culinary experience. He could not have been worth knowing or attentive during our meal and helped us decide which dishes to taste. He was super friendly and made perfect all night. Absolute credit to the company, great service really makes the premium price worth. Our only difference was the Crispy Chili Tofu, which we found quite bland and not crispy. Cocktails, wine and sake were all amazing as the red belly pig and chicken truffle Drüm sum. Yesterday evening it was a very late Mother's Day Guide of my 2. Omar was our server and he was so knowledgeable and helpful in our decision to order what. We chose some small plates between us (we wanted to taste as many different things as we could) we had a mix of fish and meat dishes. The plates were taken out 2/3 in a time and sent the fish dishes first arrived, with these easy we had room for the heavy meat dishes. The atmosphere and surroundings were beautiful. All in all was a beautiful enjoyable evening. Thank you, Omar!
What a fantastic restaurant! While the prices are on the higher side, the quality of the food certainly justifies it. The decor is stunning, and there is a strong emphasis on both the quality of the dishes and the level of service. I have no complaints at all; it was a delightful evening, and I wholeheartedly recommend it.
not many vegan options available and eating is beautiful, but nothing unforgettable. some more options for vegetarians who sound good, but there are many better places in the opposite for vegans. the restaurant itself is a beautiful place and I found the personal friendly and helpful to be.
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was outstanding, though it was on the expensive side, as anticipated. The decor is stunning, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. It's an ideal spot for a special occasion with a partner.
