I brought my family to Tavern on the Square for my daughters birthday. We typically go to the Littleton MA restaurant but decided to try the Shrewsbury location. We have gluten allergies in the family so this restaurant is a favorite treat for the family. However, this time the restaurant fell short of our expectations. The food took much too long to come out, and my daughters meal wasn't what she ordered. She decided to eat it anyway so we wouldn't have to wait for another meal. Also, the noise level was super high and the quality of the rest of our meals were not what we typically experience at the Littleton location. I was disappointed, but we made the best of a night out. food and service were great. nicole, our server, was very nice. friendly, always smiling and around the table constantly checking whether everything is good. alcoholic drink was super light, could not taste the alcohol in it.
Everything was great, except when I asked about sitting by the open seats by the window (we were celebrating my friend), we were told no by the host. Everything is else was great.
Made reservations and couldnât be a accommodated I was told the kitchen was backed up take a walk around the bar. Donât allow reservations if you canât seat the party.

Excellent food and drinks. Service even when it is crazy busy is excellent. Waitress and bartenders are amazing and on top of everything. One of my favorite places!!

it is always a great time in tavern shrewsbury. our waitress was excellent and eating was amazing. I love the atmosphere too!
pizza was very delicious! our waitress was perfect. the only problem was that I found a house huh in my mac and cheese bowl!
