Tazza Turkish, Middle East And Mediterranean Gril

This review is long overdue! Tazza is easily the best Turkish food in Tampa Bay Area and I wouldn?t consider it too much of a stretch to say ALL of Florida! I love Mediterranean food and regularly try new places and go out of my way looking for different Mediterranean restaurants when I?m traveling and I have yet to find a place better than Tazza. I?ve tried a variety of things on the menu and have loved them all. My go to is the Beyti Kebab or the Iskander. The appetizers are a MUST! The pilaki, spinach pie and Turkish yogurt are my favorite. The place is very small but nice and looks welcoming. But when you get greeted by the host and his condescending attitude and responses kind of takes it away and leaves a bad taste. I don?t know if he was the owner or just works there and he?s having a bad day. But when you portrayed those kind of behavior to your customers it doesn?t look good for the business. We feel like we were rushed for everything. And towards the end, when we asked for the check he just brought the Credit card machine and show us the screen of how much we tipping him. We had to ask him can we see the bill first. Experience was completely horrible but food was amazing. It?s the only reason I?m giving a 4 stars instead...

When someone traveled from the city and the country to Tampa, I was disappointed at the level of service and quality of this restaurant. The taste and quality of the food were usually moderate, but the portions were equal to the price. The service was disappointing aswell, as it is a half place with the owner / Waiter to be Muslim, he had a lot of attitude and gave a penny pincher vibe. I would not recommend this place to anyone who travels to Tampa, drive a little to Orlando and go to a real Turkish place like flame cabob, the service is much better, the quality of food is good when we get food, and the price is reasonable. Hope tazza can take the feedback and translate it into its resterau...

Wow, what a jewel of a restaurant. There are few opportunities where I would give more than 5 stars????????? if I could and this Mediterranean restaurant was one of them. We visit the area on holiday and we are lucky to choose this place based on reviews and what we are in the mood for. We share the Spinach and Feta triangles appetizer, the Kabob plate, and baklava for dessert. We couldn't even finish everything and it was so delicious that you just have to come and try it. We were happy enough to meet the owner and you could feel his passion and hospitality. Even if you are in the area, I would highly recommend trying this restaurant you do not regret it guaranteed!

Tazza is small seats 16, cozy with divine Turkish cuisine. It is a strong reminder of a flight visit to Turkey. The Curry Chicken Platter really loved with perfect saffron rice and Tabouli salad. I ordered the kunafa to dessert. It is made at the time of the order and lasted 20 minutes. Definitely worth waiting. I find these Clover Credit Card machines bad when they present it in the top phase. I also suggest that they remember to turn their outdoor signs in dawn. Very easy to miss the location with very illuminated shops on both sides.
