I have always liked this bubble tea shop. I like their combinations of drinks and slushes. I been coming here for a while now ever since a friend showed me this place 2/20/2019 . I never really had an issue with the staff or place even tho waiting times were sometimes very long but something made me come back everytime till now, a couple months ago. 11/18/2022 I had came with my Gf after a long trip They made me very disgusted and very disappointed. Small boba shop with parking in front. There was no line when we got there at around 1pm. You can choose to order from a kiosk or with one of the workers there, but if you choose to order from a kiosk they don't really interact with you besides calling for your drinks. I ordered the fluffy mango matcha with mango boba (which they only serve on the weekends) while my mom got the uji matcha latte! Both drinks were pretty good, but the mango puree had a weird texture that some getting used to. I liked how strong the matcha flavor was in the uji latte though!
One of my favorite boba spot in SGV!! They have the BEST housemade boba and their drinks are always so flavorful and taste perfect!! My go-to drink is the Maru milk with either the brown sugar boba or the mixed bobas with lactose-free milk, half sugar, and half ice. You can either order online, thru the kiosk or at the counter. Very quick service and order is made rapidly. They are in the same plaza as el pollo loco, next to Golden Deli Restaurant, and have good amount of parking spots when it's not too busy.
A co-worker ordered 8 drinks from Tea Maru San Gabriel and took them to work, and NONE of them were labeled with what drink it was and FIVE of them were a milky brown. It became a guessing game at that point and some people did not end up with the drink they had ordered. I had ordered an oolong milk tea with boba ended up with a really milky drink with no tea in it...so disappointing. Label your drinks especially if they all look the same...

I usually give high rating but not today. I wanted to get a small strawberry slush for my daughter but the lady said this order comes in a large size. She will charge a large size in a small cup. I asked why can't she just reduce a dollar since my daughter will not finish it and its wasteful. I just can't believe you can not make it in a smaller size when there is a smaller cup. May I suggest fixing this issue. Definitely not kid friendly!
The tea is absolutely delicious, and the customer service is amazing. I messed up stabbing the straw through and they offered to reseal for me! They're sweet make great teas. :)Left: my boyfriend doesn't remember what he ordered, but it was the 1st thing listed on the kiosk! normal ice, 75% sweet, maru cheese foam, with strawberry boba. Right: mango green tea with mango purée and mango boba, regular ice 100% sweet.
I come here with my kids all the time to grab their strawberry and mango slush with ice cream as a topping. But today I saw an employee hand a vape over to another employee(who seemed to be around a highschoolers age). I am not condoning vaping but please do not do it in peripheral view during work hours. I will not be coming back here again.
I ordered a Mango Jasmine fruit tea with mixed boba, and it was absolutely delicious! The jasmine was wonderfully floral, and the mango flavor was excellent. The sweet potato boba had a distinct sweet potato taste, which I really enjoyed. Everything was perfect—no comments needed. Food: 5/5

I absolutely love this place! I've been coming here since they first opened, and I'm always impressed by the consistent quality. My favorite drink is their signature maru milk with cheese foam. They also offer great vegetarian options, like oatmeal and almond milk as a substitute.
