This was one of my first experiences at an upscale steakhouse, and prior to this visit, I thought the flat iron steak at Boulder Creek was unbeatable. I was clearly mistaken! That evening, I opted for the prix fixe menu. I started with a house salad, which was decent but nothing memorable, and that’s perfectly acceptable. For my main course, I ordered the petit filet mignon, which was perfectly cooked to medium rare and featured a lovely char on the outside. We had a reservation for four at 6:45, but we ended up waiting until 7:25 while other guests who arrived after us were seated immediately. The overall service was disappointing. I asked three times for a second basket of bread, but it didn’t arrive until we were already well into our meal. The waiter confused our orders, serving the medium-rare as medium and vice versa. We never received the extra butter for the baked potato, and my filet mignon was far from tender. After this experience, we've decided to stick with Ruth's Chris or Morton’s Steak House. We even skipped dessert and coffee because the entire meal felt like a costly letdown.
The experience was decent, but not quite what I expected. The prices were outrageous; they even charged extra for the bread! I once dined at a two-star Michelin restaurant in New York and spent less. I enjoyed a delightful dinner experience at this restaurant, with a meal priced between $50 and $100 per person. The food was exceptional, earning a perfect rating of 5. The service was equally impressive, also receiving a score of 5. The atmosphere was wonderful, making the overall experience a solid 5 as well. I highly recommend dining here!

I absolutely love everything about Tellars! I had lunch there, and the cost per person was around $20 to $30. Highly recommended!
