The table was beautifully decorated, and we received a complimentary glass of wine to celebrate our anniversary. The service was pleasant, but the food did not meet our expectations given the price. The portion was small, and there were no sauces offered or available as side options. We had hoped for a different menu than what we received. It's advisable to call ahead to confirm the daily offerings, as we ended up ordering food we didn't really want. We might consider returning, but we clearly should have checked the menu first instead of relying solely on what was presented on the website. We dined at the hotel on our first night, and the experience was wonderful. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The dinner was delicious, enjoyed in a beautifully lit space with a lovely ambiance. They even made my birthday special, which was a lovely touch. All three courses of our meal were excellent and offered great value for money. I highly recommend this restaurant! Thank you!
We found the bar area very cold and no bitter beer. The food was excellent and we had very attentive service. The dining room was immaculate although the large picture which supposedly represents the Tempest looked completely out of place. We had a Sunday roast dinner better than any we have had for some time. We shall certainly return.
On arrival I was told it was “Curry Night” and I was not offered an alternative choice. As someone dining alone I found the music quite loud and intrusive to my thoughts. I am accustomed to having a Hendricks Gin Tonic served with a cucumber garnish there was no garnish at all.

Stunning place. Very attentive and polite staff. The food was incredible! We went for my husband’s birthday and our 1st wedding anniversary joint meal and they went above and beyond to make it special for both. Thank you. We absolutely will be back!
The food and service were excellent. The dishes were beautifully presented and incredibly delicious. The music was a bit loud, but we were seated near the speakers.
Terrible experience, worst pasta dish I’ve ever had and steak was awful. Waitress said they keep them in a waterbath. Empty, soulless place to dine
