not even. I ate here yesterday and I have to say that it was the worst Chinese I've ever had. the crispy duck looked to the left over stripe crispy meat and the skin sneaked into a container. the salt and pfeffersquid was soggy and tasteless. the chili crispy bark had no taste and the crustiness was more soggyness. the chili and salt chips that I didn't even touch when I picked up my order, have just cleaned out a load chips from the chippy friyer and charged chili. Finally, the crippled cracker smelled of old fat friyers I wish I had read the reviews first, so seriously, not eating here if they want a beautiful Chinese. what a waste of 26 pounds!
I have visited several popular fish and chip shops in London, such as Ollie's, Seashell, Master's, Poppie's, Toff's, and George's, and in my opinion, this place is on par with them. The food is always freshly cooked to order, and the prices are very reasonable (currently £1.70 for small chips). The staff are friendly, and there are comfy sofas to relax in while waiting for your order. Despite the simple decor, this is definitely one of my favorite fish and chip shops in London.
Have had many a lovely take away from here but equally bad ones. When ordering it does depend on the night Sunday's and Tuesday's are the worst nights to order. Friday's the delivery can take longer but rest on the week okay. They are a little bit crafty the free prawn crackers are the cheap chewy ones where if you buy them you get a bigger bag and they are nicer. The free drink is also a cheaply not a name brand!! Nothing for nothing as they say!!
Got take away fish and chips and decided to try their patties too, the food was mediocre, the patties were stodgy and not very nice, it was as though they had been sitting under the heater for over a week, even the colour was odd. someone who came in and ordered take away duck got his food way before us. What was really odd was that it took so long to hand over the food and yet it was warm and not hot!
sarah. the first time that I ordered this chinese was last night after four hours that we had all such bad illness and that was terrible I checked it and thought it sounded nice, but I was so wrong I would tell everyone that it never order from this chinese has me from chinese for a long time, so a wasting money and never was so I before
Ordered delivery. Food took ages to come, some of the order was correct. I called to complain and had to listen to the guy that answered the phone talk to customers while I was waiting. They sent replacement food that took another 45 minutes to arrive. I ordered salt and chili tofu and it was DISGUSTING and INEDIBLE.
My curried King prawns with egg fried rice was really nice, friendly staff too. No complaints here. I normally go up the road (if u know u know)lol, but think i'll be coming here from now on.
The Chinese food is fairly typical, but the service is excellent and the delivery is speedy. While the menu may not be anything remarkable, the convenience and efficiency are top-notch.
The quality of our meals is consistently outstanding, with excellent food and friendly, punctual delivery drivers. I hope they are open tonight.
