Unlike the north part of the island, the south tip, including Morro del Jable is not vegan friendly at all. Being aware of this, we rented an appart hotel, with a fully equipped kitchen. Finding Tente en Pie was really a live savior! We were really impressed by the wide selection in a pretty small store. We came to Fuerteventura to windsurf, so we need good nutrition! We stocked up with a bunch of superfoods, energy bars, plus we found tofu steaks, vegan cheese, vegan chocolate and a bunch of high quality dried foods. Bought a few vegan slices to make a couple of sandwiches for our flight home. The fridge was looking a bit bare but I did buy a pack of violife cheese slices, burgers and some vegan 'meat ' slices.
