"Amazing, friendly place, with quality food, and lovely views"
During a ride with my fellow motorcyclists, I remembered seeing a sign for a cafe along this route. We decided to explore further and found "Old Canteen" nestled in an industrial estate. Although not easily visible from the road, keep an eye out for the signboards. The establishment has adjusted well to the COVID safety measures, making it a clean and safe environment. We enjoyed some hot drinks and delicious sandwiches, although the specials also looked tempting. If we ever ride out that way again, we will definitely be returning to this excellent spot.
This restaurant offers one of the best cooked breakfasts in a welcoming atmosphere. They warmly welcome children and even provide them with color pencils to draw a picture for their wall, which adds a lovely touch to the experience.
I have never been to this restaurant before. The staff was friendly and the menu was great. The prices were reasonable. Thank you for taking care of our cycling group.
