I was quite disappointed! They only had one vegetarian option on the menu (apparently the menu I had checked before going was for the restaurant downstairs). The main problem was the service. The waiter clearly didn't want to be there, and when I asked if there were vegetarian options he simply said no. The wait for food was ridiculous. After ordering chips and guac we were informed later they were out (they were out of a few food options). We waited around 40 minutes for a salad and bread. The fries took even longer (I think they were clearly forgotten about). My friend spoke French and we were both very polite, but I was quite shocked at this service definitely the worst in Montreal I've e...
We visited this rooftop bar for drinks and were impressed by the beautiful views. However, we felt unwelcome due to the attitude of those around us. Despite being respectful paying customers who tipped generously, we were abruptly informed by our waiter that the bar and kitchen were closing at 7 pm. It seemed as though we were being indirectly told to leave because we were younger than the other patrons. This made us feel incredibly uncomfortable, and I would not recommend this place to others in their early 20s.
Waited 55min to get dishes. We were there for my wife's birthday... but no more Champagne available... Food was extremely spic. All three different dishes were presented under a layer of chili powder (shrimps, salmon tartar and lobster)... almost impossible to eat for kids and totally killing any other flavor on adult plates.Don't go there. There are plenty of much better (and much cheaper) choices in the surroundings.A bad experience.(PS: the table next to us left after waiting half an hour to be served)
I was there for a birthday... 55min to get our dishes no more champagne (at the glass) over spicy food (three different dishes were all covered with chilli powder... way too much. Honestly, I'm thinking that they mixed Paprika and Chilli when making the plate decoration... seriously. That much chilli was insane. At then end, this place wants to be high end, but is very far from there...

The restaurant has a beautiful setting with stunning views. I have dined here multiple times and have noticed that the same dishes are prepared inconsistently. There have been occasions where ingredients were missing or the dish was cooked differently. However, despite these issues, the food is still pretty good.
The rooftop terrace at this hotel offers a beautiful view of the city and the port of Montreal. Although I found the timing of the food service to be a bit confusing, I thoroughly enjoyed everything I ordered. The dishes were made with high quality ingredients and there was a good selection of wines available.
Food wasn't all that spectacular, the portions are extremely small and the pricing of the food menu is pretty high for what you get. We ordered some Margaritas and those were pretty good. For Drinks and a nice view of old port, I would definitely recommend.
I haven't been to Nelligan for a few years and they have updated it beautifully. Stunning location, lovely decor, great food and friendly service all in the picturesque setting of Old Montreal. Loved it!

Great customer service, in fact, the best I've seen in a long time. With one exception, wonderful food! Wait staff was accommodating and friendly, going out of his way to make our visit a great one.
