I usually go once a week and the food and service are consistently good. I went about a week ago and today. Bothe visits were awful. First off, the entrance area stunk like body odor and sweat. I understand it is hot, but both times it was not that busy. That surprised me as it is always busy. Last week it took forever to get my salad and when I finally got it, the meal came about 2 minutes later. The Dallas filet was chewy and I was not sure if it was a filet or if they got a cheaper cut of meat. When I went today, I ordered the grilled shrimp. It had way too much seasoning on it. I have ordered it several times before and it was never this spicy. And it seemed that all the servers were new...
I had a credit for a free appetizer, so we decided to try the killer ribs, and they were fantastic. We ordered fries on the side; they were a bit soft, but they paired well with the ranch and barbecue sauces. The ribs were cooked to perfection, falling apart just like you'd expect from a great steakhouse. For my main course, I went with my usual 5 oz salmon, served with rice and vegetables. The salmon was a bit overcooked and slightly dry, but the flavor was good. With the lemon and tartar sauce, I hardly noticed any of the issues.
Her service was excellent, and the food was fantastic! However, I have to question the timing of serving alcoholic drinks to someone who was clearly intoxicated. The man sitting next to my partner was very loud and disruptive, and despite the attention he was drawing from other diners, he continued to be served alcohol. Perhaps they need to reconsider their staff training? Should I have asked to be moved to another table? Or maybe I should have said something to management?
We didn't have a reservation and ended up waiting longer than we were initially told. We waited for 25 minutes, but it turned into 45 minutes. However, the server was fantastic, checking in with us to see if we needed anything else. The food was hot and delicious—kudos to the chefs and our server! A friend from south of the river introduced us to Texas Roadhouse, and we’re now big fans! The steaks are simply fantastic. We make the 28-mile trip from the northland at least once every six weeks to enjoy the delicious food, great atmosphere, and friendly service. I always take my out-of-town guests there for dinner. Keep up the excellent work!
Great, lively, fun environment. Food was delicious. Ellie, our server, who said she was fairly new was A+ in every way. Drinks and rolls were refilled before we had to ask. She has a great personality. We were able to enjoy our family dinner without having to worry about anything. She made our night great.
we were already often in texas, this time we had a nice server name marissa (10/10 would recommend. she was great, timely service with a smile. Eat was perfect, thanks marissa!
