My experience at Texas Taco was very disappointing. I went in expecting good food but was sorely mistaken. I spent $31 on my meal. The rice in the burrito was completely bland, and the steak lacked any seasoning. I ate half the burrito, then tore the other half open, only to find almost no cheese inside. There were some diced tomatoes, but overall, the burrito was flavorless. While salsa was provided, a burrito shouldn’t rely on it to taste good. The fish taco was inedible. Despite costing $5 each, I really wanted to enjoy them, but they had no flavor at all and came with melted cheese, which was off-putting. I placed orders on two occasions when I wasn’t in the mood to cook, and I wasn’t disappointed! We love the brisket taco and shrimp taco, and today we tried the grilled steak with onions, which was just as delicious. The cheese quesadillas, along with the chips and guacamole, are also fantastic. The staff are very friendly and answered all my questions while helping me with add-ons and sides. This is truly a wonderful neighborhood spot!

When I clicked on the website link on Google Maps, it directed me to Slice, but the manager I spoke to over the phone said that that's not the best way to place an order. The entire ordering process was quite confusing, and we ended up receiving the wrong dishes, with no apology from the manager.
I am thoroughly unimpressed. The food was unauthentic, cold, and did not have a nice presentation. When you click on the ?website? button on Google Maps, you are redirected to slice. However, according to the manager I spoke with on the phone, sliceis not the preferred way of placing an order. Usually, when I place an order, I receive a generous portion packed with the meat of my choice. However, this time, the serving was noticeably smaller, and the majority of it was filled with rice. I hope this is just an isolated incident.
The food at this restaurant is always fantastic. If you're looking for a better tasting experience than Chipotle, this is the spot for you. I highly recommend their nachos with guacamole; I always make sure to add them to my meal!
I've been a regular at Texas Taco for quite some time, and it truly stands out in a great way. Their tacos are incredible, and they also have my favorite hot sauce! It's definitely a hidden gem in the neighborhood!
The food is consistently good and appears to be fresh. The meat is not fatty at all. The staff are courteous and helpful. I've been there several times in the last six months, and it's definitely worth a visit.

I absolutely love the burritos served in a bowl. They are tasty, satisfying, and just right. I've also tried the Taco Salad and other dishes, and I’ve never had a meal at Texas Taco that I didn’t enjoy.
The place smelled amazing as soon as I walked in! The owner was incredibly friendly. My fajita was enough to feed two people, but I was thrilled I didn't have to share!
