I ordered from the online menu, but they stated that the double trouble burger wasn’t available. My wife chose the closest alternative, which was the bacon brisket burger. Unfortunately, it was by far the worst burger I've had in the Katy area. The bun was much smaller than the burger, and the brisket was subpar. Although an abundance of bacon is usually welcome, it didn’t fit well in the bun and caused the burger to fall apart into a messy disaster. The fries were also disappointing - they were cold and not fresh. Since this was a takeout order, I can’t comment on the service or atmosphere, so I've rated those aspects as a 3 to be fair. I don't plan on eating here again.
Had a hankering for fried fish and they have a $16.99 deal for 10 pieces every Friday. Found them on a FB ad. The place resembles a country store inside and out. The service staff was extremely pleasant and I ordered to go from the bar. My food came out fast and it was hot. The fish didn't have much seasoning on it but it was well fried. The fries were hot and had a good seasoning on them. It isn't a huge place and it was relatively full when I went... overall good place to go for country home feel.
This is for the management I hope you take this as a constructive criticism. I went in there and marinara to go, the person at the counter took my order he was vaping behind the counter and also not practicing the hygiene. It is super sad that he was vaping right in front of me kind of hiding himself but I could see it. Ordered my burger medium and it came out well done. Didn't get to enjoy my burger and also felt disgusted because he begged my food without washing his hand because he was vaping
Was not disappointed at all great menu, everyone enjoyed their food and left well fed with left lovers. I ordered a mushroom burger and it was divine. Staff was friendly. Place was packed and they still managed to take our orders and get us served very quickly. I'm posting this review many days after visiting. But i needed to put in some deserved good words. Chicken fried steak and brisket burger were grrreat! On the burger the smaller pieces of brisket were drier than I had preferred but the moist bigger pieces made up for it.
Despite being a bit loud, this place is definitely worth it! The food is fantastic. I absolutely loved their house salad with blue cheese dressing—so delicious!!!
Had the bacon cheese burger will be going back. And the Fried green tomatoes are to die for. Best side dish. Reminds me of home. DELICIOUS.
