Food was great. Customer service not so great. Walked in felt like I was back in the 1900s I didn't belong with the stairs I was given. I wasn't acknowledged by anyone, until the cook told the girl to give me a menu. I was ready to walk out but stayed ordered. Then when my food was done, it sat there once again the cook had to let them know it was done even though the woman at the register saw that it was done. Not sure if that's procedure but what really pissed me off, is when I went to pay for my food, I handed the woman my cash in her hand I had my hand out for my change she put it on the counter instead of my hand gave me a smirk. I can't believe how little they think of their customers. I ordered a dish from the stack of paper menus in front of me, which had a listed price of $10.99. However, the price rang up at over $13. When I asked the cashier about it, her ridiculous response was, "New menus with updated prices are on order." I suggested she should throw away the old menus if they weren't honoring the prices listed on them. So, I decided to leave and eat somewhere else.
I really enjoy this place. I've been with friends a few times and the food has always been pretty good for the price. Highly recommended for those who need decent food for cheap. Parking: South Orange can be extremely busy, especially during rush hour. There aren't really an free parking lots near the restaurant. But then again, I don't know how much the parking price is enforced.
I didn’t get a chance to order before I walked out of the establishment due to a lack of being served for 20 minutes. It was not busy at all. I purchased a coffee, and they gave it to me in a to go cup when I told them I was dining in.

The food is absolutely delicious! It's well-seasoned and definitely ranks among the top five breakfast spots in the county. This place is so underrated! I visit at least three to four times a week.
The decor is a dive, but the food is sold. Nothing extravagant, but it covers all the dinner basics. I wish they had better hours, as I expect a NJ dinner to be open past 7pm.
Good atmosphere but the place needs to be sanitized it smells like dry sweat and dirty rags , also the food isn’t that great I got my food
