Came here for a date night with my wife and loved everything. The oysters were fresh and both styles that we tried were fantastic. The salt and pepper whitebait was delicious but light enough to let us enjoy our main, which was a seafood platter. With a dozen oysters and the whitebait, the seafood platter for one was enough for both of us to share happily. Everything was delicious and not boring- the flavours were still exciting and not the same old seafood you can get anywhere. Abbiamo avuto fortuna a trovare un tavolo all'aperto: meglio prenotare perché il ristorante è piuttosto richiesto.Ottime le ostriche con una salsa al watermelon appena piccante.Hanno un fish menù con 5 tipi di pesce in 5 o 6 preparazione e dressing diversi: ne abbiamo provate 3 su barramundi e red emperor e tutte ci sono piaciute, anche se di gusti estremamente differenti (da segnalare un aioli al beetroot, buonissimo).Discreta la carta dei vini e cocktails, non carissimi.Il servizio è rapido e attento, anche se il setup della tavola è migliorabile.Molto buono!
We had an incredible dining experience at Tha Fish. The wait staff were warm and friendly. Brett was our waiter who made our experience all the better. I couldn't decide what to choose so he said he would surprise me! I had the pan seared coral trout, Sheldon's curry spice, fried watermelon and snow pea salsa, crispy nori. So very good! Later for dessert we ordered Smoked vanilla and thyme panna cotta, blood orange granola, strawberry and champagne coulis, black pepper sauce . I am so glad we made this incredible dinning experience apart of our trip to Cairns.
Of all the restaurants on the marina, Tha Fish was full whilst the others were not, which is a good indicator. Prawns in XO sauce is a big winner, and the seafood platter- crab seriously good. They can do a killer Rusty Nail (we showed them how) the mango bellini is fabbo, and generally the wine list is nice. We went two nights in a row just to confirm, yep, they are consistently good.

We enjoyed a great meal and fabulous service at Tha Fish. Our group tried a variety of items on the menu and every single one of us was wowed by what we received. The quality of the food was exceptional and the service we received from the staff was friendly and attentive with nothing being too much trouble. We'll definitely be back.
We came here twice for dinner and had great food both times. I had the coral trout while my partner had the gold band snapper along with a salad and the fish could not have been cooked or presented any better. The service was friendly and professional. I would recommend Tha Fish to anyone looking for a great meal in Cairns.
Ate there twice in space of 4 days. Ambience is good, looking out at boats and water. Service was attentive and efficient, except for one quickly rectified issue with a martini. Couldn't fault any of the seafood and the desserts were wicked (thoroughly recommend the snickers). Not cheap but reasonable value for money.

The location was great as it was right on the marina. I had the local barramundi grilled and it was fantastic. Perfectly grilled with vegies and a side of chips. The taste was awsome. The grilled fillet was delicious. Will be back again for more.
