Terrible experience. Food was bland and terrible. There was no flavor. I cna buy coconut milk and it should taste better. Reviews are misleading. There are may good Thai places around that I know but still I went with the reviews; terrible (and costly) mistake. Things which are terrible. 1. Taste terrible 2. Options extremely limited 3. Ambience cramped Good Things 1. Since it was a takeout order I got some microwave safe container (of course food was bad)
My experience dining at this restaurant for multiple days was great. The service was friendly and almost everything on the menu is vegan, with just a couple of exceptions that contain egg. We tried more dishes from the Chinese section of the menu than the Thai side and enjoyed the hot and sour soup, sesame chick'n with broccoli, and eggplant basil with tofu. The curries looked and smelled delicious, so we plan to try them next time we visit.
We came on a weekday at lunch. There were 3 other parties and only one server but he took our order quickly and we didn’t have to wait long for the food despite a sign in their window saying they are short staffed. I got pineapple fried rice, it was fine but not wow so I will likely try something else next time. My omni husband got the drunken noodles, they were very good. He plans to order them again. The place was clean, calm music.
I tried Thai Basil once before it was fully vegan/vegetarian and was a little underwhelmed but was passing through Piscataway and hungry so decided to get some take out and I'm seriously blown away, the food is incredible! Got the hot and sour soup and the pad thai and basically inhaled them. Amazing! Wish it was closer to me lol Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
This was my first visit to the restaurant, and I was impressed by the wide variety of options available. I decided to order the spring rolls, pad Thai, and sticky mango rice - all of which were incredibly tasty. I can't wait to return soon.
Best Thai food we have been able to find in the area! We always get takeout from Thai Basil and each time is better than the last! Definitely stop by and
I really enjoyed this restaurant, all of their options are vegan except for 2 dishes that have egg. I highly recommend this restaurant!!
