We were looking for something different to eat in the city other than the usual hotel dinner, and we found this large Thai restaurant located about 20 minutes from Dana Point Beach. The restaurant was bustling with take-out orders but the service was friendly and helpful. It was one of the few places where we could call and discuss food allergies and dietary restrictions. The portion sizes were very generous and could be shared by two people. The tom yum soup was served in a beautiful hot bowl with a burner to keep it warm, and the pad thai and pad see ew were delicious. The food at Thai Bite in Laguna Niguel was not enjoyable. I ordered from the lunch menu and chose the combo with ginger. The scallops were bland, the calamari was chewy and lacked flavor, and only the shrimp had some taste. In my opinion, if seafood doesn't have flavor, it's not fresh. Our waiter, Ricardo, was very customer service oriented, but I would not recommend this restaurant as there are many other options in the area. The total for lunch was $16.00.
The Thai food at this restaurant is delicious. My favorite dish was the weeping tiger steak, but everything we tried was tasty. The pineapple fried rice and fried catfish were all very delicious and flavorful. Overall, a great dining experience with delicious Thai cuisine.
Nothing but vegan on the menu, but several dishes seemed or could be by showing meat w tofu (an option on the menu). I ordered Tofu Salat and Tofu Larb were strangely almost identical except Tofu in one had been fried. That was more than $10, but a lot of salad/taste.

I would give four stars for the food at this restaurant. The coconut soup, pad Thai, and pad see ew are some of my favorites. Parking is available in the lot, but it can be challenging to find a spot during busy times.
Typical Thai restaurant can be vegan. Pad Thai can be vegan only to tell them no eggs or fish sauce; many Curries have options from Veggie or Tofu. Large portions, but expensive as all Oc restaurants are.

Thai Bite lives up to the reputation of Thai food never being a bad choice. The food at this restaurant is truly delicious and the service is quick and friendly. Our experience there was fantastic.

My men's group from Laguna Woods Village had a fantastic dining experience at Thai Bite yesterday! With a reservation for almost 20 people, we were warmly welcomed and treated to a delicious meal.
